Our vision is to support you and your sporting passion by providing an extensive range of high performance footwear, sports equipment and accessories from leading brands. We specialise in shoes for people with all kinds of foot problems and carefully ensure the right fit for all shapes of orthotics. We also carry a large selection of shoes for work, school and casual wear.
Mike Pawley is philanthropist and former Australian professional cricketer. He played professional grade cricket for Manly from a young age, as well as 11 first-class cricket matches for New South Wales between 1969/70 and 1973/74.
Truth be told, our business all began when Mike started selling homemade lemonade on the front lawn of his childhood home as a 5 year old! He simply loved playing "shops", and in 1978, he opened his first retail sports store on the Northern Beaches and there's been no turning back since then!
Driven by a relentless passion and enthusiasm to help others, Mike's unique modus operandi has helped his brand become synonymous with excellent customer service, incredible bargains, and expert guidance in the retail sporting business.

Our staff are amazing! Much like the community we serve, we are a diverse bunch of people lead by the effevescent 'little Aussie battler' himself, Mike Pawley!
Our stores are run by a team of extraordinary human beings who are passionate about helping you choose the right product for your sport. Together with a fabulous Sales Team and Customer Support Team, our staff have over 200 years of combined retail experience and we pride ourselves on giving the best customer service in the business!
We have 3 conveniently located retail outlets on the Northern Beaches at Dee Why, Manly Vale and Mona Vale, and encourage you to visit us in-store to receive expert guidance and advice from our knowledgeable, caring staff who will help you choose the best fit or technically correct shoe or equipment for your sport.
Mike holds life memberships with the NSW Cricket Association, Manly Warringah Cricket Association and Manly Warringah Junior Cricket Association and has had a significant involvement in coaching cricket on the Northern Beaches for almost 60 years!
His contribution to cricket and sport in general was recognised in 2008 with the naming of the sporting fields in Stirgess Ave, Curl Curl to "The Mike Pawley Oval". And on Australia Day, 2012, Mike was acknowledged for his “service to the sport of cricket in the Manly Warringah area” with a Medal of the Order of Australia (OAM), one of the highest honours bestowed by the Australian government.
Giving back to the community for more than 45 years!
Since inception, Mike Pawley Sports has proudly supported many sporting clubs, organisations, schools and charities across the Northern Beaches and further afield to country NSW and more recently to sporting clubs and schools in Sierra Leone.
In 2012, Mike Pawley Sports also became the principal financial supporter of the Happy Days Cambodian Village School Inc charity, an Australian Non-Profit Organisation supporting a rural village community in Siem Reap, Cambodia. This charity aims to create awareness of such poverty by raising funds for thousands of impoverished school children striving for an education in very difficult circumstances.
